About the role:
The objective of this role is to develop and implement the marketing strategy that will drive the growth objective of the business, position portfolio brands to be leaders in their category, and equip the sales team and customers with the tools to execute on the strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- A key stakeholder in the development of the business strategy, you will own and deliver category growth plans consistent with defined goals
- Shape product agenda and execute new product review plans
- Ensure brand strategy delivers awareness and consideration by key customer segments and channels
- Develop and execute consumer pull-through strategies
- Develop and execute contractor loyalty program
- Build and coach a professional, high performing marketing team
- Develop strong relationships with key customers, relate to their strategies and achieve strategic synergies
- Implement marketing best practise
- Develop and defend IP across trademarks and product innovation
- Drive outcomes from key industry bodies
- Collaborate with other CSR business unit marketing GM’s to jointly deliver transformation initiatives
The successful candidate will have significant experience leading a B2B marketing team within the industrial sector, with relevant tertiary qualifications, and a history of successfully delivering product growth strategies. Also critical, is strong commercial acumen and the ability to constructively engage and influence at senior levels within the organisation.
