About the role
We currently have an opportunity within our Marketing team for a Marketing Lead – Business for a 12-month fixed term. You will report into the Marketing Manager – Business & Education and take the lead on managing the B2B & B2B2C customer segments. A key aspect of the role is to partner with the business to translate insights into business needs and develop marketing strategies and plans to reach and grow these customer groups.
You will act as a customer champion for the B2B customer, including those non-managed and account managed customers across various business sizes (ie, SOHO through to medium business segments) plus employees ‘working from anywhere’ (B2C). Business partnering with the B2B Leadership & Sales teams this role will use insights to influence actions and acts cross-functionally to improve the collective understanding of the behaviours, wants, and needs of these customers
You will also work with internal teams and external agencies to brief, develop, and deliver on the Business Marketing Strategy through integrated marketing communication programs and activities that deliver on commercial, customer and brand objectives. This includes but isn’t limited to activities that drive the expansion of the Flexiworks offering and service take up, deliver a new B2B value proposition to market across key customer facing touchpoints, ensure an optimised and efficient digital account acquisition program, whilst leading key moments with channel leads such as EOFY & Back to Work.
At Officeworks we support a hybrid approach (on-site and working from home), with the currently based at our Support Office in East Bentleigh, Victoria.
About you
- You are tertiary educated, with a relevant degree in marketing or similar, coupled with 5+ years’ marketing experience.
- Experience working with Agencies (Creative, Media, Digital, Content & Design)
- Understanding of advertising, production, content marketing, social media and PR
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills you will quickly develop relationships
- You thrive working in retail and or/ a fast moving and changing environment, adapting quickly to the reactive needs of the business. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and in cross-functional working groups
