The objective of the role is to develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns targeting the intermediary audience (including financial advisers, private wealth groups and research houses) in Australia.
This is an opportunity for a well-rounded and highly collaborative marketing professional, who can execute a marketing strategy to meet business objectives and revenue goals for our managed funds business.

Reporting to the State Street Global Advisors Global Head of Institutional Marketing, you will be responsible for State Street Global Advisors’ managed funds marketing activities in Australia.
What you will be responsible for
As Marketing Manager, you will
Planning and delivering fully integrated marketing campaigns utilising the full marketing mix: direct marketing, events, website, social, advertising and content.
Development and updates of collateral, videos, web content, sales tools and educational materials for the intermediary audience.
Coordinating, planning and booking proprietary and sponsored events for the Australian market (including monitoring for third party events / new opportunities).
Distribution of newsletters via our email marketing platform.
Managing and building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external agencies on an ongoing basis.
Measuring, optimising and reporting the performance of marketing initiatives against campaign and business goals.
Planning and administration of the marketing budget.
Collaborating with compliance to ensure that all marketing activities comply with local regulatory requirements.
What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role
Strong knowledge of marketing principles and formulation of marketing strategy. Ability to clearly define and improve client journeys across multiple digital touch points.
Solid understanding of the investment management industry in Australia, especially wealth management.
Excellent organisation, execution, and program management capabilities with attention to detail.
Planning and executing events across traditional in-person formats and virtual platforms.
Data driven mindset ranging from understanding and identifying clients and prospects to measuring and analysing success of marketing initiatives.
Experience in managing marketing budgets including invoice management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven, team-oriented environment.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
3 to 5 years of professional marketing experience, in asset management / financial services.
Bachelor’s degree preferably with a major in marketing.
RG146 qualified.
Experience working with marketing and sales platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, On24, Adobe, Tableau and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
