Located in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne - Dandenong South, our client is a well-established organisation that designs, manufactures and produce marine specific motors.
Position Summary:
The main deliverables in this role will include:
Assist the Marketing Manager in development of marketing communications
Help Implement of the digital marketing strategy for the organisation,
Provide BoatShow coordination, administration and support
Co-ordinate company's online marketing activities
Administration of merchandise, sponsorship and trade marketing programmes,
Duties and Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate of multiple social media accounts across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and any other relevant social media channels - This will include helping with content generation, daily interaction and management of customer enquiries.
Management of YouTube channel, including the generation of content and playlists.
Generating new content and ensuring that all pages and company information is kept up to date for both internal and external audiences.
Management of e-marketing schedule, building and sending emails to our databases.
Liaison with external parties (eg Influencers, customer, end users) in order to generate social content.
Administrative or other marketing support to assist with the efficient running of the department, as and when required
Manage the movement of the Corporate Display Trailer and exhibit marketing, including development all requirements and event co-ordination
General brand marketing support eg. ensuring Brochures, Retail Programs and collateral used by all teams across the company is on point and on time.
Essential Key Skills:
Experience of creating and using social media in a professional and/or promotional capacity. Experience marketing through Google, Facebook and YouTube platforms.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent copy writing and proofreading skills, and a keen eye for detail.
A creative flair in the generation of fun and original online content.
Experience in social media marketing, digital marketing or brand marketing
A good all-round standard of computer literacy including the use of PCs, Macs, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Experience of using website content management systems (Open Source). - A working knowledge of design packages such as Photoshop and InDesign. An understanding of Google Advertising, basic creative video editing and graphic design skills
Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively.
The ability to work independently and as part of a larger team
A good sense of humor and a proactive, positive attitude.
Qualification and Experience
Tertiary level Degree in Marketing/Business/ Communication is essential for this role
Strong organizational & communication skills with a creative or design flair.
Graphic design, digital marketing or similar experience is highly valued
Ability to generate marketing related information reports is essential
Previous experience of 2 or 3 years in similar role will be highly regarded though not essential.
Job Offer
The hours of work will be Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm. Permanent full time role.
