Role Purpose
We are seeking an inquisitive and analytical Master Data Analyst to join us for 24-months based at our Global Head Office in Collingwood.
As part of a team that is central to the business and has touch points with most functions, you will ensure that data is set up and maintained accurately and effectively within key systems.
You will be responsible for data entry, running reports, identifying missing data and collaborating with key stakeholders and data owners to source and complete data into the system. Additionally, you will assist with key projects within the Master Data team to implement Master Data standards, data governance and maintaining data quality.
Aside from that, you will play an important role by being involved in integration work whilst ensuring that agreed integration and BAU activities are delivered in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities (not limited to)
- Set up new items in key systems, ensuring all relevant Master Data is up to date and accurate.
- Ensuring strong Master Data processes are set up and maintained.
- Identify areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement
- Reports are developed for critical stakeholders to show missing data points, enabling them to maintain the data effectively
- Take ownership of new item set up, artwork transitions, bills of materials and node creation ensuring transition dates are accurate and data is complete.
- Support continuous improvement programs to drive improvements in the operational planning process
- Support educational programs of business competencies through best practice sharing
- Proactively encourage and undertake the technical know-how reciprocal sharing within the Systems Team
- Deliver project targets as required in a timely manner
- Provide input / support on IT projects for the wider Systems Team
- Provide training and support to other relevant Aesop staff
What we are looking for
- Some experience working in a similar role within a data and operational support environment
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting
- Strong computer skills, proficient use of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP) is desirable
- Reporting tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL etc.) is advantageous
- Solid skills in data administration, design, and architecture
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in training and supporting stakeholders through process change
- A collaborative and effective communicator who is highly attuned to achieve commercial outcomes underpinned by excellent planning skills
