About the Role:

The Master Scheduler will contribute to the implementation of modern, secured technology systems for a new airport and a new business with no legacy systems replacement needs. You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of a Technology Delivery Program schedule. This position is a key role in implementing planning and delivery assurance in a value adding way, driving continuous improvement. This involves collaborating across the Program Leadership Team, Delivery Partner and Technology Vendors to align activities, processes and requirements to feed into the overall Airport integrated schedule.

This position is a 3 year fixed-term contract paying up to $200,000 package per annum and is based in Liverpool + WFH.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Establish scheduling guidelines, standards, processes and templates including project scheduling templates, compliant with integrating into the master schedule.
  • Development and management of the TDP Program master schedule including tracking, analysis and providing assistance in the development of the underlying project schedules.
  • Collaborate with Program and Project Managers to continually monitor and update schedules, provide options to optimise schedules, ensuring agreed milestones are met and resources are utilised effectively.
  • Report on whether projects are delivering capabilities in line with the baselined scope, schedule, costs and benefits in line with the agreed investment plans.
  • Provide quality assurance to ensure adherence to the minimum standards and standardisation across the program and technology portfolio.
  • Implement and continuously improve schedule management tools, processes, methodologies and ways of working, to support delivery at pace.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience in a large complex organisation.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Prince2, PMBOK, MSP, P3O, Agile, PMI Scheduling Professional or similar.
  • Mid to Senior experience in Project Planning and Scheduling, improving schedule management practices and delivering to outcomes.
  • Exposure to Enterprise PMOs or Technology PMOs is an additional advantage.
  • Master Scheduling experience in the governance and delivery of large programs within complex organisations (Waterfall and/or Agile).
