Description & Requirements

This role controls the flow of inbound raw materials onto the site for use in production processing based on ERP demands.

Responsibilities:
Create Purchase Orders and expedite and de-expedite Purchase Orders

Ensure production have the materials needed for production as required by the production schedules.

Adhere to the materials planning policies and procedures- minimising risks of having materials when needed by production.

Follow up on deliveries not booked in against purchase orders with the suppliers.

Monthly report on material inventory levels.

Communicate and daily review constraints on material supply with Production Scheduler and production Process Owner as needed.

Meet with suppliers and operations and liaise with them to discuss their performance and upcoming issues when materials will not be delivered on time.

Run reports and send forecasts to suppliers.

Solve problems with invoice variances.

Plan materials for new items when new finished goods are being launched.

Document the existing and adjust the current policies- procedures relational to materials planning and present to the production planning manager for approval.

Processing NCAs (non-conformance advice) and ensure they are sent in a timely manner and acknowledged within 48 hours.

Manage material deletion process through Agile and MRP.

Support implementation of KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) across site whilst also supporting changes across all pillars of improvement program.

Maintain communication to site and relevant offsite parties for all matters relating to raw material supply.

Daily walk of raw materials and/or production area to understand flow of materials and footprint issues.

Ownership of QRMP/ KHMS quality standard. It includes review and maintain quality standards in line with KHC and industry requirements.

Ensure safety standards are followed across site in line with site policies.

Attendance and participation in relevant daily- weekly & monthly planning relevant routines to provide technical input and support from site perspective.

Lead and carry out Root Cause Analysis for events connected to material supply. Complete in a timely manner RCFA for issues related to delayed supplier deliveries- raw materials receival processes- material constraints- or other relevant triggered events connected to material supply.

About you:
Qualifications in Business- Logistics or Supply Chain Management (preferred but not essential)

Problem solving and analytical skills.

Logical and mathematical ability

Customer service and communication skills

High attention to detail

Used ERP systems and understand MRP theory and practice.

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel

Basic skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (desired)
