Material handler acts as the point of contact between wrapping/ manufacturing lines and the Warehouse. The role entails constant communication between the relevant departments, Material Handler is expected to ensure all materials are available on a timely manner for the manufacturing/ wrapping departments.

What are we looking for?
- Forklift licence
- SAP experience is preferred but not essential
- Warehouse experience preferred but not essential
- Teamwork – The ability and willingness to work with and for others, fostering a positive workplace.
- Communication – ability and willingness to effectively provide and receive important information to associates as needed.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Be the point of contact for Manufacturing/ wrapping departments and the Warehouse
- Material Handlers are responsible for managing their own expiring materials.
- Communicate between each other material handlers if materials are used in multiple departments.
- Check the fortnightly shelf life report and put reminders in your calendars at time of expiration.
- Material Handlers are responsible for managing all expiring stock including in the Warehouse areas and Flam store.
- Material Handler is responsible to ensure only the material that are needed are on the picking list in their area.
