The role:
Whitehorse City Council has an exciting opportunity to join our supportive Maternal and Child Health Team. We have six multi nurse Family Centres across the municipality. Your role will be to promote the quality of life and independence of families with young children 0-6 years through the provision of appropriate advice and information in relation to their children’s health, growth, and development.
Permanent position available as well as a 12 month temporary contract. Each of these positions are .8EFT, however consideration will be made for reduced EFT across multiple applicants. In addition, multiple casual relieving positions are available.
Upcoming MCH graduates are welcomed to apply, with employment pending successful completion of their MCH qualifications. This role provides a great opportunity for new graduates to consolidate their practice with Whitehorse Maternal & Child Health graduate support.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you must have well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of families, other professionals and team members. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required and a knowledge of CDIS Computer programs would be beneficial.
