Mathematician / Game Designer Gaming

Reel Time Gaming creates world class games to run on Poker/Slot Machines for gambling venues. We are seeking an additional Game Designer with strong mathematical skills to work in-house in our multidisciplinary team on projects to be deployed worldwide. Our team consists of talented game designers, artists, programmers and testers, who you will collaborate with on a regular basis.  Based in Taringa, with easy access to public transport, gyms and cafes, you will be part of a motivated team who enjoy working together in a well-equipped development environment.

About the Role:

You will be an integral part of the life cycle of game development, formulating the mathematical model for the probability and statistics of slot machine games. You will also provide input and feedback on the game flow and visual design of the game.

Required Skills:

•      An excellent knowledge of Excel and other mathematical tools;

•      A relevant tertiary qualification with mathematics studies (including a focus on probability);

•      A strong interest in the gaming industry;

•      A creative flair and an eye for detail;

•      Eligible to work full time in our Brisbane Office;

•      Knowledge/skills in computer programming (Godot, C# or shaders) would be an advantage.

Please note that the focus of this position is primarily maths based with software programming a secondary skill.
