The Financial Services Department includes finance business partnering, financial reporting planning and analysis, patient revenue services, finance system mangement and finance projects.

About the role:

Reporting to the Director Finance, the MBS Billing Project Manager will work closely with Senior Management and key stakeholders to implement process and system changes to maximise revenue in accordance with the MBS Billing Policy Framework, the MBS billing policy in Victorian public hospitals - Interpretive guidelines for best practice published by the Department of Health and the National Health Reform Agreement.

About you:

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification in Commerce, Finance, or related discipline
  • Expert level understanding of MBS Billing and Private Practice Agreements in a Public Hospital setting
  • Highly developed knowledge of MBS billing processes and best practice in Public Hospital settings
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and drive projects to their completion
