RCR Mining Technologies have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson to join our team on a fulltime basis, located in our Welshpool Workshop.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Production and issue of technical drawings (design and detailed drawings) for manufacture
Perform drafting within the scope of work supplied
Develop workable solutions in collaboration with engineers, designers, and workshop staff
Ensure a high standard of the product is developed and supplied to clients
Enhance processes and procedures within the engineering group where possible
Provide a mentor role to trainees and less experienced draftsman
Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:
Mechanical Engineering Diploma (or equivalent)
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Navisworks
Autodesk Inventor experience (highly regarded)
Proven experience drafting to Australian standards, statutory requirements and client specifications
