SalaryOur client URGENTLY requires a Mechanical Engineer - Maritime Systems for a 9 months+ contract role in the Defence Industry in Cairns.
The Mechanical Engineer - Maritime Systems will be supported by subject matter experts to achieve outcomes and would be expected to develop and maintain close working relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
Experience required includes:
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Understanding all required engineering disciplines and practice, provide technical authority and design acceptance, implement and ensure compliance with technical regulations, legislation, policy, procedure and practice
- Evaluating technical and design packages including scoping, planning, reviewing and implementing actions;
- Implementing relevant engineering knowledge and processes to develop advancements to engineering principles, techniques, methods and regulations;
- Maritime or Defence background would be an advantage.
Must have a current (minimum) Baseline security clearance.
