All Pumps Sales & Service is looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our team in, Silverwater, NSW 2128. This is a great opportunity where hard work will be rewarded.
Responsibilities include:
- Build and test prototypes of pump systems. Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary design changes.
- Designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction.
- Lead and manage engineering projects from initial concept through to production. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Create and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and test reports. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with advancements in pump technology and industry trends. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and engineering efficiency.
- Directing the maintenance of plant buildings and equipment, and coordinating the requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules
- Organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment
- Conduct fluid dynamics and structural analyses using FEA software (e.g., ANSYS) to validate and optimize pump designs. Perform thermal and stress analyses as needed.
- Inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
To ensure that you are successful in this role you will possess/demonstrate:
- Degree qualified in Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ of experience required in a similar role.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. Experience with data analysis and failure analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication skills
- Critical thinking and Attention to detail
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $95,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
