This is a great opportunity to join our Manufacturing and Fabrication Team and work in the largest fabrication facility of its kind at our Henderson Facility. The Role The key responsibilities of this position are: Assemble mechanical and subassemblies for production machines and other equipment Complete mechanical checklists and weekly inspections of plant and machinery Proactive and positive person with plenty of motivation Conduct marking and lining out Perform planning tasks as requested Carry out additional duties in line with your qualification Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required Comply with industry safety standards and work practices Follow quality control systems and techniques Ensure adequate rest and sleep and be in best fitness for work Wear required PPE for the task Develop JHA for your tasks Inspect your work area and complete
Take-5 to assess risks and implement controls Report any incident to your supervisor immediately Housekeeping Perform other general duties as required About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following: 3 - 5 years' experience within the Industry Basic Rigging & Dogging Previous balanced machine experience Understanding of conveyor systems Shiploader / reclaimer/ stacker assembly experience High Risk Work Licence - EWP Working at Heights Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card Trade Certificate Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Civmec
