About the Role
Please note this role is being offered on a fixed term and / or permanent, part-time basis with flexible options available to help support your work-life balance and any commitments you may have outside of work. Even if you can only work 1 day per week we’d like to hear from you.
We are seeking applications from qualified candidates for the role of Mechanical Maintenance Technician. Working within the Mechanical Maintenance team you will be carrying out preventive, general maintenance and repair work.
In this role you will:
- Inspect, diagnose, service and repair a wide range of mechanical equipment
- Overhaul and assembly of equipment
- Utilise computerised maintenance management systems
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the workshops
- Undertake training and upskilling as required
This role is for candidates currently residing in the Kalgoorlie region or interested in relocating.
Kalgoorlie is the largest inland city in Western Australia and due to its central location is positioned at the heart of the Goldfields as a vibrant mining town and a major gateway to the Eastern States. The City of Kalgoorlie/Boulder offers modern shopping facilities including big brand and local independent retailers, 4wd & cycle tracks, plenty of parks and playgrounds and schooling for all ages up to high school. About You
- Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification (Fitter or Boilermaker)
- Previous experience working in fixed plant maintenance (preferred but not essential)
- Computer literacy
- Current full C Class Drivers Licence
- Flexible, team-orientated approach with proactive communications skills
