About The Role
A great opportunity exists for the right person to join the small team in Dandenong South, Victoria. This business gets the opportunity to work on the complex stuff that will challenge you and keep you developing and growing.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager you will be responsible for completing repairs and servicing a range of products in a timely and safe manner.
What does that mean?
Disassembling the product and repairing or servicing plus completing the appropriate reports detailing the work done or required
Reassembling the product adhering to the technical specifications and completing the relevant report
Testing your work and reporting on findings
Working in a safe manner whilst ensuring compliance with all OHS policy, procedures and guidelines
At times, you might be required to install repaired / serviced products on Voith’s client’s site

What You Require To Succeed In This Role
Appropriate Trade qualification - Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or an Automotive Qualification (light or heavy) with the appropriate experience working with gear boxes and complicated products
Strong Computer Literacy
Well-developed diagnostic Skills
Qualification above complemented with relevant practical experience in rotating machinery, and applying principles of mechanics
Current Forklift Licence
Current and clean Drivers Licence
Proven experience working independently and the ability to work in a complex challenging environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
