Mechanical Maintenance Fitters

Labourpower Trade are looking for maintenance fitters for a day shift work based in Dee Why.

The positions available are day shift 6am till 2pm.

Our client works within the cable manufacturing industry.

Role involves but not limited to:

• Manufacturing/Process experience in an industrial environment
• Maintenance on light to heavy manufacturing machinery
• Fault finding on conveyor systems
• Fault finding gearbox's & drive systems
• Fault finding on pneumatic & hydraulic systems
• Preventative Maintenance

To be suitable for this position:

• MUST have Mechanical Trade Certificate III
• MUST have Manufacturing or Process experience in an industrial environment
• MUST have Fault Finding experience
• MUST have machine installations, upgrades and commissioning experience
• Certificate IV in Pneumatic and Hydraulics's - ADVANTAGE
• Forklift licence / EWP / Yellow Card / First Aid / Confined Space tickets - ADVANTAGE

This position has a minimum 12 weeks casual before opportunity to transition to permanency.

Pay rates for this position starts at $54 p/hour.

Job Types: Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: $54.00 – $63.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Penalty rates

Experience:

• Maintenance Fitter: 2 years (Required)
• Industrial maintenance: 3 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:

• Mechanical Trade Certificate III (Required)
• Certificate IV in Pneumatic and Hydraulics's (Preferred)
