The Role
The primary role of the successful applicant will be completing mechanical repairs and maintenance of an extensive plant and machinery collection not limited to tractors, headers, trucks, sprayers, graders, bulldozers, telehandlers, ploughs, cultivators, farm vehicles, small motors, and quad bikes.
Although mechanical maintenance is a large focus of this role candidates must also be willing to be involved in the cropping work where required including spraying, ploughing, planting, harvesting, and some truck driving. Along with general day-to-day maintenance ie. fixing broken water pipes.
The Employer:
Your prospective employer is a family-owned broad-acre dryland cropping company spread over 2 farms in Coonamble and Collie. This role will be primarily based on the Collie farm however will need to assist on the Coonamble property from time to time, such as harvesting and sowing.
Wheat, canola, and chickpeas are the focus with a limited number of cattle being run on the land unsuitable for cropping.

Depending on the successful employee’s needs the house also has the option of being furnished.
Collie is a small township that is home to the now-famous Collie Hotel situated between the bigger towns of Warren and Gilgandra
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Mechanical aptitude with maintenance and repair experience
- Ability to weld
- Machinery operation experience
- Cropping experience
- Willingness to become part of the team
- MC or HC licence is preferred but not essential
