Position: Part-time, Casual, Contractor
Sydney Injury Clinic, located within the prestigious My Health Medical Centre in Potts Point, is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to enhance our dedicated team. We specialize in injury rehabilitation and preventive care, committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose MSK conditions and establish treatment goals.
- Design personalized rehabilitation programs to address patient needs, incorporating various therapeutic techniques.
- Continuously evaluate and record patient progress, adapting treatment plans as required.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, health maintenance, and the benefits of continued physical therapy and exercise.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including GPs, psychologists and dieticians to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Masters Qualification
- Valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least three years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on musculoskeletal injuries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
