An exciting new opportunity has opened up for a Medical Receptionist in our Carlisle Medical Center!
We are seeking candidates to start straight away! We have positions available in our Carlisle Medical Center! Practices and we are looking to find the perfect fit for our family friendly team.
The Medical Receptionist role is the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors and allied health providers.
The successful applicants would be appointed as a part time employee working a minimum of 15 hours per week with the opportunity to increase with weekend work and cover as required for sick leave and annual leave.
You will be responsible for:
- Greeting patients.
- Handling a variety of patients phone call enquiries.
- Handling a busy switch board.
- Booking appointments and entering patient data.
- Generating invoices and receiving payments.
- Processing Medicare Claims.
- Handling of incoming mail and preparation of mail to send.
- Maintaining doctors' bookings and schedules.
- Being responsive to other team member requests.
- Taking all doctors requests in a timely manner.
- Other adhoc administration as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role within the medical field.
- Be able to work in a team.
- Best Practice Software experience beneficial.
- Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional phone manner.
- Be able to multitask and prioritizes all times.
