South Eastern Play & Creative Therapies is a growing team of independent Play Therapists and Creative Arts Therapists based in Officer. Our aim is to provide accessible, high quality therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families utilising play and expressive arts-based practice. We have strong values in embracing neurodiversity and inclusive practice.
Your Role
The role is a casual position (with the possibility of moving to a permanent role) 20 hours a week spread over 5 days Monday-Friday. Immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls
- Calendar management and bookings for up to 6 Clinicians
- Responding to inquiries
- Email management
- Processing payments
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Onedrive and Teams)
- Maintaining electronic files
- Working with a practice management software
- Waitlist management - follow up calls to clients
- Assistance with inventory and stock control
- Any other administrative duties as required
Key Selection Criteria:
- You will be motivated, friendly and reliable
- Must have an empathetic and calm manner
- Proficiency in using Halaxy, Xero and Square are desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills in using Microsoft Office
- Skills and experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
- You will have an interest in child and adolescent mental health
- Experience working in a health service (child and adolescent mental health is desirable)
- Experience working in a mental health setting
- Experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Hold a current Working with Children's Check and recent Police Check
Salary is based on the Health Professional and Support Services Award and will reflect your experience in similar roles.
