West Coast ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists) has been servicing the needs of patients in the southern corridor of Western Australia since 2008 with clinics located most recently at the Wexford Medical Centre, Murdoch.
Our Murdoch practice is seeking to add a Casual Medical Receptionist with excellent people and organisational skills. This role is casual position being minimum two days per week 8am to 5pm.
(MUST be available Thursday/Friday)
This position will suit someone who has flexibility as there will be additional days as the practice gets busier, as well as assistance required to cover holiday and sick leave.
Our successful applicant will to be highly motivated and be able to work effectively autonomously and as part of a team. They will have the ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
Duties include
• Meeting and greeting patients and visitors to the clinic.
• Answering incoming phone calls in a professional and polite manner.
• Scheduling patient appointments and booking procedures
• Patient invoicing and receipting, plus liaising with Medicare and Private Health funds regarding patient accounts.
• Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in a similar Medical Receptionist/administration role.
• Experience using Genie practice software is an advantage.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to relate to all clients, doctors and staff in a professional, supportive and efficient manner.
• Demonstrated confidential handling of all client information.
• Excellent written, verbal and phone technique.
