Located in Warrnambool
The Role
In this casual role, based in Warrnambool, you will be responsible for delivering a high level of administrative services and customer service to our consultants, patients & stakeholders in our private consulting suites.
You will report to our Manager-Medical Billing & Practice Support (Geelong)
Some of your duties will include:
Welcoming patients
Scheduling appointments
Collecting/entering personal details
Answering telephone calls
Raising invoices, processing patient Medicare/DVA claims & daily banking
To be successful in this role…
You will:
Have experience with Medicare rulings and billing interpretations
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
Preferably have a basic knowledge of the Genie practice management software/or a quick learner with PC programs
Be empathetic to patients and their families
Be adaptable and enjoy working in a medical practice with our Doctors and staff

About Epworth Warrnambool
Epworth's private consulting practice is located within the South West Regional Cancer Centre which is opposite the Warrnambool Base Hospital in Ryot Street. The centre is run by South West Health (SWH) South West Oncology and ICON. It caters to the communities of Victoria’s south west including Portland, Hamilton and as far west as Mount Gambier.
