Resolution Institute members engage in adjudication, arbitration, mediation, expert determination, facilitation, conflict coaching, conciliation, restorative justice, and restorative practice and has a membership base of over 3,000 professionals, across a diverse range of industry sectors.
Position Purpose.
Reporting to the Head of Membership and Marketing, the Membership officer will be a well organised, detail-oriented person who loves engaging with customers and members over the phone and via email. This role will be responsible for all our member and non-member enquiries. To be successful in this role, the officer should enjoy dealing with customers and working in a great team environment. They should have strong communication, telephone, and administrative skills.
Responsibilities for Membership Services.
- Respond to member and potential membership phone and email queries for Australia and Zealand.
- Responsible for all approval of membership and follow up on accreditation.
- Renewal process for all memberships including Corporate members and the Student Mediation Scheme.
- Update and maintain CRM membership database information.
- Check member CPD (continuing professional development) forms and send certificates.
- Develop, document and maintain all relevant membership processes and procedures.
- Maintain and update relevant sections of the website with the most up to date information.
- General administrative support as required.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, with the ability to learn new software applications.
