What you'll be doing
As a highly skilled mental health registered nurse, the Clinical Nurse Educator will provide instructional leadership and foster a culture of practical/evidenced based education within the current team. Your success in this role is underpinned by your exceptional collaborative skills, your passion for your work in young people’s mental health, and your understanding of the value ongoing professional development and education has in maintaining a high performing team.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

Holds AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse AND holds relevant clinical mental health and education post registration qualifications or such education and mental health clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated computer literacy.
Demonstrated ability to practice safe nursing care and knowledge of policies and clinical practice guidelines.
Demonstrated knowledge of evidence based practice and contemporary issues in mental health nursing, continuous quality improvement and risk management.
Drivers licence with nil restrictions and ability to use when required for the position.
