About the role:
Virtual Mental Health in Orange NSW providing mental health consultation and liaison to 47 Health facilities across Western and Far Western NSW.
You will work with a multi-disciplined team of experienced mental clinicians and have opportunities to liaise with a wide spectrum of other Health professionals across Western NSW and provide Mental Health triage and assessment of crisis Emergency Department presentations via audio visual and telephone links.
Our small team is a 24/7 multi-disciplinary service covering 47 emergency department throughout Western and Far Western NSW. In addition to our ED video consultation and liaison work, MHEC provides telephone info and support to GP’s and other stakeholders over a diverse range of cultural and geographic settings.
Our rapidly expanding model of virtual Mental Health Care can provide clinicians with skills that can guide their practice throughout their career in Mental Health Practice. There are kangaroos outside the tea room in a parklike and rural setting. It takes 10 minutes to drive anywhere in Orange.
