- Support people living with psychosocial disability to achieve their wellbeing goals.
- Work from home and outreach to clients in the community across Melbourne and Greater Melbourne
- Part-time position at 20+ hours per week, (Wednesday availability ideal as this a crossover day for our team).
- Work closely with people who are supported by the NDIS and living with a psychosocial disability.
- Build strong working relationships based on trust, respect, healthy boundaries, and psychological safety.
- Coach individuals to make changes that they find meaningful, one step at a time.
- Support people to make sense of their NDIS plan, navigate the NDIS and the broader service system, and connect with appropriate services and supports.
- Coordinate services and supports to build a holistic support system for each person.
- Provide support through face-to-face appointments and other tasks completed in your own workspace.
To join the Recovery Coach team at Candella, you will need:
- At least two years experience working with people in a Mental Health or trauma-informed context OR have a minimum Cert IV in Mental Health, Peer Work, or related qualification.
- A valid driver's licence and an insured, roadworthy vehicle suitable for transporting someone during a work shift.
- Ability to pass a NDIS worker screening check.
