Based in* Brisbane, the Meter Data Manager*, Powermetric Metering Pty Ltd (“Powermetric”), is a key metering team leadership role, managing a small data team in the provision of meter data services, including a comprehensive understanding of the National Electricity Rules (NER), detailed analysing of systems and process and leading the resolution meter data exceptions.
In addition, the Meter Data Manager will be responsible for ensuring meter data services are provided in accordance with the National Electricity Market (NEM) rules and meet all the Service Level (SLA)’s) requirements of the NEM and Powermetric’s customers. The role will require extensive interaction with internal stakeholders within the broader Shell Energy group and externally with customers, competitors, and service providers as well as providing support to the Powermetric team, the IT support team and to the wider business with other duties as required.
About you:
- Metering experience in an AEMO accredited MDP business;
- Meter data team leadership experience or equivalent;
- Professional experience in a relevant technical or metering data analysis position;
- Experience in carrying out operational tasks, preparing business procedures as well as experience in user acceptance testing;
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of metering data management within the NEM, including Chapter 7 of the NER and MSATS;
- Experience in supporting a Product Owner;
- Understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and AS/NZS4801 policies and process;
- Ability to develop an understanding of metering systems and advanced analysis of the system, data processing and SQL queries;
- Demonstrated organisational, time management and problem-solving skills; and
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timeframes with good attention to detail.
