Mid-Senior Data Engineer

The Team;
You will be working with a team of 8 currently and expected to grow by an additional 2 people over the coming months. You will work within the data function of the team working on building out a brand new forecasting tool to be used by the business as a whole. There are a mixture of contract and permanent staff and everyone is treated the same.

The Role;
You will be working across a large cloud migration project which will be migrating from legacy platforms to snowflake deployed on an AWS solution. You will be working within a data rich project which will be used across a range of teams within the business. You will be designing and building a data lake as well as implementing metadata-driven data pipelines from various sources to Snowflake. You will be working with internal and external stakeholders so being able to communicate in a technical and non-technical manner is crucial to the role.

What you will already need to know;

• A strong background in SQL
• Experience with ETL tools
• Experience with AWS & Snowflake would be a bonus
• Experience working with internal & external stakeholders
