About the role: An opportunity exists for an experienced Mine Survey Superintendent to join our Coppabella Moorvale Mine. Our Coppabella Moorvale mine complex consists of three open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay producing coking and low to mid-volatile PCI coal for export markets. The Mine Survey Superintendent reports to the Technical Services Manager. The Role Providing support to mine planners and operations through pit design, set outs, topographic surveys/scanning, data reduction, accurate volume calculation and reporting, to enable the achievement of organisational goals. Producing accurate survey data in accordance with statutory and company standards. Establishing survey controls and reporting and ensuring that statutory requirements are met. Conducting engineering surveys for mine infrastructure as well as end of month calculations. Managing the survey database in Vulcan and spreadsheets. Focusing on health and safety, environmental considerations whilst engaging people as well as have commercial awareness and delivery of results. About You 5 years proven experience in a similar role in an open cut mining operation.
