What you'll be doing
ward/service level and provides clinical supervision in order to support development of evidence based, person
centred nursing care in line with the standards, policies and procedures of the Ministry of Health and other statutory
authorities.
This Clinical Nurse Educator role will be part of the MNC Virtual Care team.
The role will assist in upskilling nurses across a broad range of clinical proficiencies, delivering virtual and on-site education and training to the clinical team, in line with the primary purpose of MNC Virtual Care: to reduce preventable admissions and decrease length of hospital stay through Urgent Care service delivery, early intervention and care navigation to people who have been identified as at risk of presentation and hospitalisation for low acuity conditions that can be safely managed over a virtual platform.
Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at

- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia who holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such educational or clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate advanced clinical educational programs and strategies in a virtual clinical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment and responsibility for professional practices through the development of self and others.
- Competence in the delivery of adult education at a ward/unit level and understanding of learning and assessment principles.
- Demonstrated highly developed clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Current NSW driver's licence and willingness to drive for work purposes, including overnight stays.
