Mobile Crane Operators
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Crane Operators join our dynamic team in the ACT with the following requirements. Permanant opportunities available for the right candidates.
Duties
- Operate Mobile cranes efficiently and safely as required
- Understand the operation of the crane (Load charts, manufacturers handbook etc)
- Inspect crane daily and notify supervisor of any issues
- Take responsibility for safe work area and ensure all appropriate PPE is used at all times
- Complete and keep logbooks and paperwork up to date on daily basis
- All other duties as directed by the company
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience highly desirable.
- Slew Crane Licence (C2, C6, C1 or C0)
- Heavy Combination (HC) Mandatory
- Dogman (DG) Mandatory
- Intermediate Rigging (RI) highly desirable
- High Risk Work Licence
- White Card
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- A strong work ethic and reliability
- An enthusiastic and can-do attitude
- Work as a team
- Demonstrates safe work practices at all times
Dogman / Rigger
We are looking for an experienced Dogman and/or Riggers to join our dynamic team in the ACT with the following requirements. This position will be on a casual as needed basis for 3 months with the possibility to go permanent.
Duties
- Check all lifting equipment for damage and maintenance requirements prior to commencement of work on a daily basis.
- Secure and control loads as necessary in a safe and efficient manner
- Control the lifts and ensure crane operator is aware of lift intentions.
- Ensure load is slung correctly and that all persons are notified prior to lift and landing of load.
- Control dual crane lifts, eg: spin up precast panels, installing tower sections. (RI Qual)
- Check with the crane operator that loads are within the safe working load capability of the crane
- Take responsibility for safe work area and ensure all appropriate PPE is used at all times
- All other duties as directed by the company
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience highly desirable
- Dogman (DG) Mandatory
- Intermediate Rigging (RI) highly desirable
- High Risk Work Licence
- MR or HR Licence desirable
- EWP desirable
- White Card
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- Silica Awareness Certificate
- Working at Heights Training as Required
