Your new role

Under the direction of the Systems Engineering Manager, you will:

Establish and maintain a static (System Architect) model.
Develop Architecture models.
Create and maintain traceability to DOORS requirements and between model elements
Prepare architecture views as defined by the Modelling Plan covering Operational Views, System Views, Human Views and other views as required.
Work with System Owners to maintain the model in accordance with the functional and allocated baselines.
Generate system engineering documents (Combat System Design Description, Interface Documents and Operational Descriptions) from the model content
Guide the domain and SME System engineers in the structure and use the model
Maintain metrics within the model and generate metrics reports as requested

What you'll need to succeed

Australian Citizenship is Mandatory
If you are a systems engineer with MBSE exposure/understanding, you are encouraged to apply. We can look at a variety of levels. From those looking to learn and develop in this area. To those who are highly experienced.

The role is well suited to those with experience in the system of systems domain, identifying functions of systems and interface dependencies between systems. The work involves both static definition and behaviour analysis. The work is model based and defines the central point of truth for the combat system elements, interfaces and dependencies.

Scope also includes the definition of the Platform Management System and the inclusion of networks, security and safety features within the Combat System design.
