About the Opportunity:
The Mortgage Broker Development Manager is responsible for managing, coaching and driving the sales performance of the internal Mortgage Broking team.

You will have a passion to inspire the growth and performance of others, embrace and represent the values and principles of the organisation, as well as embracing change and encouraging continuous improvement in business processes and procedures.

The Mortgage Broker Development Manager will be required to lead by example via required work ethic and behaviours as well as demonstrating sales best practice and business ethics.

As the leader, you will also continuously review and find business improvement opportunities and report back to the business Leadership Team to ensure that the team and business are operating at optimal efficiency and effectiveness.

You will have a laserlight focus on managing the Compliance activities of the business to ensure that all team members operate in a manner that is in line with the overall Compliance Framework expectations of the business, and you will ultimately be responsible for the compliance performance of the team as a whole.

About The Successful Candidate

With a strong lending background and extensive experience in the home loan finance industry (minimum 5 years), you will be able to demonstrate your ability to manage high volumes, deliver to KPI expectations and provide a customer experience that your client's can't help but rave about!

You will have experience managing and developing a high performing sales team in a mortgage environment, and are able to demonstrate your ability to build and grow a sales team.

You will also have:
Amazing verbal and written communication skills, including a firm grasp of the English language
A firm understanding of the lending and compliance framework
Previous mortgage broking experience is essential
Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking
Literate with Microsoft office, email, video conferencing and CRM data collection systems
Flexible in your approach to working hours - our customers are our absolute priority, and this may mean extended or varied hours of work from time to time... we do what it takes to achieve our customers desired outcome
