A bit about the job
We’re on the search for an experienced Motion Graphics Designer/Animator. If you’re super-talented at making animated content and stories from scratch, would enjoy building creative projects for our global clients in the gaming, sporting and commercial field, can work autonomously with ease and simply enjoy having fun, then we'd love to hear from you. Our motto in the Art division is ‘Just have fun with it’ each day we’re motivated by this!
As part of the role, you will also be expected to keep up to date with new technologies,
one day you might be animating screen content for our gaming displays, another you’re creating engaging content for our website and the next you are asked to help with bringing an innovative project to life through motion graphics. The work can be challenging but what we can guarantee you is – it’s a super exciting role that will test you, stretch you, bend you... but one which will enable you to grow. You will be a part of the development journey from the initial brief to launch.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in After Effects, 3Ds Max/and or Blender
- An up-to-date Design Portfolio
- Motion Graphics and/or Animation skills - adaptable to a variety of styles
- Strong eye for design, and ability to translate designs into motion
- Ability to composite graphics with live-action footage
- Ability to create concepts and style frames from a written brief or script
- Must be an Australian resident
Desirable Requirements:
- Character design and illustration skills
- Understanding of design, layout, and typography.
- Knowledge of trends within motion design
- Experience with 3D or VFX
Education/Qualifications:
- Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in the field of graphic design, digital media, visual effects or similar.
This is a permanent, role with an immediate start.
