AnnualSalary - $70,000 + Superannuation and Commission

Scotts MotorArtarmon Pty Ltd is seeking motivatedcandidates for a qualified Motor Mechanic for North ShoreHonda, Artarmon NSW.

Weare one of the leading Honda dealerships in Australia and part of one of thelargest dealer groups in Japan, VT Holdings, with over 200 dealers around theworld.

POSITIONRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carrying out quality and timely general servicing and maintenance of vehicles
• Identifying and carrying out repair work
• Knows how to detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts.
• Able to dismantle and remove engine parts and other components then repair or replace defective parts and reassemble.
• Provide maintenance services (oil change, engine tune-ups to ensure compliance with regulation)
• Test run or check performance of vehicles after repair.
• Be able to inspect vehicles and issue roadworthy certificates.
• Quickly respond to calls and attend vehicle breakdown service.
• Providing accurate job records
• Fault diagnosis
• Wheel alignment
• General repair of suspension and steering components
• Brake repairs

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified automotive technician who has completed at least a Certificate III in Automotive (Mechanical – Light Vehicle) including at least two years of on-the-job training.
• Strong work ethic
• Strong communication skills
• Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Previous Honda and/or dealership experience preferred but not essential.
• Current, unrestricted Drivers Licence
• Demonstrative experience in automotive suspension repairs, components, and operation.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work and is focused on results.
