Form of workJoin Our Team as a Driver / Warehouse StorepersonBased at Dandenong South, Melbourne, Glass Outlet is recognized Australia wide as a leader in the wholesale supply of glass, aluminium fencing, balustrading, aluminium screening, shower screens and accessories. A full-time position is now available for a motivated all-rounder MR Driver / Warehouse Storeperson with warehousing experience.
Commencing immediately and working as part of a friendly team, you will be involved in all general day to day warehouse operations including (but not limited to):
- Picking and packing of orders for trade customers and inter depot inventory transfers
- Deliveries are to business premises and also to residential addresses.
You would be assisted with an offsider if required.
- Assisting with receiving & putting away of incoming stock
- Forklift operation
- Ensure that for inwards goods any discrepancies are followed up promptly
- For goods outwards, checking to ensure accuracy of picked goods by warehouse staff prior to dispatch
- General warehouse and inventory tasks as requiredTo be successful in the role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience in a warehouse role with sound knowledge of the workings of a goods in/goods out distribution business
- Good communication skills having regard to interaction with warehouse/office staff and customers
- Possess a current forklift license
- A current MR licence Enjoy great work-life balance with working hours of 7.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
