One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage Multiple Business Analysts to work as part of a Scrum team to deliver solutions for business problems. You will be responsible for populating the product backlog via in depth investigations and gathering of technical and non-technical information. The role can be based in Canberra or Brisbane with the successful Business Analysts to be offered a 12-month contract partnered with a 12-month extension.
The successful Business Analysts will be responsible for the below:
- Facilitating workshops as required with busines stakeholders
- Participating in Sprint Retrospectives to identify opportunities for improvements
- Working closely with Solution Architects, Software Developers and Test Analysts to provide an understanding of business requirements
- Documenting detailed business requirements for epics by using analysis techniques such as user journeys, use cases and process mapping
The successful Business Analysts will have experience in the following:
- Minimum 3-5 years working as a Business Analyst in Commonwealth environment
- Experience working in an Agile software development team
- Experience populating Product Backlogs and facilitating workshops
- Extensive knowledge and experience of user journeys, user stories and process flow diagrams
