One of Australia’s leading Federal Government Departments is looking to engage a skilled and experienced Multiple UI/UX Designer to join their multidisciplinary team based in their Canberra or Brisbane Offices. The successful Multiple UI/UX Designer will contribute to the information architecture, interaction models and UX patterns in an evolving product. The successful Multiple UI/UX Designer will secure a 12-month contract with 12-monthextension options with a rewarding pay rate with working from home arrangements.
The successful Multiple UI/UX Designer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Ideating, iterating, and refining throughout the design process by creating user journeys, process maps, wireframes, and prototypes as required.
- Share findings and use insights to suggest ways to improve the services the Branch supports.
- Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Developing design collateral and reusable front-end components.
The successful Multiple UI/UX Designer will have experience in the following:
- 1 year of commercial experience as a UI/UX designer.
- Solid understanding of accessible design principles and experience in designing to meet WCAG guidelines, including AA Compliance.
- Experience with Agile software development and project delivery
- Tertiary qualifications in Design, Interaction Design, Human Centred Design or similar.
