Murex Integration Lead

We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to provide resources to their Murex Testing team working on a wide range of projects from regulatory engagements, to binary upgrades

We require an experienced Murex Integration Consultant to work across our client base. The role will suit a techno/ functional resource with extensive knowledge of Real time as well as Batch Interfaces. You will work with business users to understand requirements and create functional and technical specifications by working with the business to understand process while advising on Murex best practice

Responsibilities

• MxML workflow integration with up and downstream systems (FMDW, TOMS, BSMT, etc)
• Building interfaces with Murex and other systems using Java, Linux Scripts and Python.
• Build, enhance and debug Datamart reports
• Regression Cycle analysis (EOD run and diff analysis)

Skills

Must have

• Minimum 8 years overall experience
• Minimum 5 years of MXML 3.1 exposure, with proficiency in XML/XST languages, Data Dictionaries, Templates.
• Develop MXML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange.
• Familiar with various popular trade interfaces like MarkitWire, TOMS.
• Experience working on Contract/ Deliverable / Event / Exchange workflow
• Good understanding of Validation, Confirmation, and Payment concepts of any of the treasury products
• Swift messages and Paper confirmation.
• UNIX Shell scripting
• Understanding of Front to back Trade Life Cycle.
• Good knowledge on Financial products like FX, IR and FI.

• Experience in JAVA, Python
