ABOUT THE ROLE:
The National Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and acting as the primary contact between the customer and company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing exceptional customer service
Identify supply chain optimisation opportunities with customers
Identify opportunities to enhance business and support with business growth
Develop, implement, monitor and maintain the company’s account management system
Update and maintain relevant customer communications and the customer database
Management of customer accounts
Educate customers on all services offered including contract logistics, warehousing, distribution, eCommerce fulfillment, One Network and wharf cartage
Conduct regular quarterly business reviews and face to face meetings with all assigned customers

ESSENTIAL:
Minimum 5 years experience in sales, marketing and / or business development within Supply Chain
Experience within Account / Customer management
Experience in providing end-to-end supply chain solutions within a 3PL environment
Extensive knowledge / exposure to 3PL services
Experience and working knowledge working in eCommerce Fulfillment and logistics
Understanding of industry trends and customers in eCommerce industries
HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
A tertiary qualification in a related field
