About the role:
We are currently seeking a driven and motivated National Logistics and Inventory Manager to join our winning team.
Reporting to and working directly with Site and Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for planning, coordinating and maintaining the logistics supply chain operations between AV and its business partners. You will also provide high level support to manage and maintain multinational stakeholder accounts.
The successful candidate will combine information from multiple sources to provide insights and trends in critical areas to manage the logistics across our global business and develop cost solutions through analysis and collaborating in identifying opportunities to optimize business and system processes and inventory.
About You:
The successful candidate will bring their high level business acumen and analytical skills to drive business success and organisational change.
You will be a key figure in bringing your professional expertise and leadership qualities to support a highly experienced, loyal and dedicated Domestic and International Export and Warehousing and Logistics Teams.
Key Functions:
- Achieve best cost for all group dry and finished goods inventory management.
- Take an active role in communicating supply issues to prevent key products from going out of stock.
- Manage costs while assisting to improve efficiency within the logistics model.
- Benchmark current performance with competitors and review competitor logistics arrangements.
- Engage all relevant stakeholders in reviewing cost/waste saving opportunities.
- Work directly with the Export Manager on managing distribution
- Oversee and manage all aspects of warehousing and inventory management
We are looking for:
- A people person: We are looking for someone who thrives on building relationships and possess strong communication skills. Your ability to communicate, influence and negotiate will be key for success in this role.
- Organisation skills: Strong planning and organisational capabilities are essential.
- Detailed: You will be intrigued by tracking and conducting data analytics and have experience working with inventory management software and forecasting.
- Leadership: You will have the ability to lead multiple teams and communicate sound judgement and advice to multiple levels of the business and drive and deliver organisational objectives
