Kawasaki Australia now have an opportunity for a National Sales & Marketing Manager to join their highly successful team. In this role your main focus will be to support and drive dealer sales & national marketing activities in for Kawasaki products in line with KMA policy in order to achieve goals and sales targets and the overall management of national dealer performance with focus on Sales, Marketing & Brand Improvement.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop the business plan for dealer network in consultation with the Managing Director
Develop, maintain, and control national dealer network
Implement, coordinate and review Kawasaki Brand strategy for Kawasaki market
Coordinate national dealers sales and marketing activities
Manage call cycle, reporting and tasks for sales team
Coordinate and manage marketing team and tasks
Manage daily & monthly sales with sales coordinator
Find and develop new dealerships in required areas (motorcycle, AG/Commercial, Jet Ski)
Develop off-road specialist dealer network
Manage racing teams and budgets (with support from marketing manager)
Monitor and review Franchise agreements
Implement national sales programs and promotions as required
Work with Logistics team for freight distribution
Management of special projects upon request
Manage sales activity of all products (including accessories & merchandise) for dealerships
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Minimum 5 years working experience in a comparable position or industry
Able to communicate and direct clearly in both verbal and written form
MS Office experienced (basic computer literacy)
Experience in motorcycle, powersports or automotive industry
Car & Motorcycle licence required (Jet Ski/PWC licence optional)
Passion for motorcycles, Jet Ski and/or Powersports & business development
Able to travel (domestic and international) as required for dealer visits, events and meetings
Will include some weekend and/or after hours work
Excellent people management skills are required
