About the role:
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced National Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our Knauf team based in Camellia, NSW.
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst reports to Head of Supply Chain Planning and supports the supply chain organisation in the analysis of potential supply chain optimization opportunities.
This role provides analytical and project support for the supply chain development program as well as operational and tactical planning. This role also supports the development and improvement of key supply chain systems and processes
Role responsibilities:
- Long-term planning to balance required and available capacity, and to negotiate changes to the master schedule and/or available capacity
- Perform fact-based, data driven analysis, and modelling on significant amounts of data across end-to-end supply chain for purposes of turning it into actionable information required to support key business decisions.
- Gather information for the Supply Chain utilising SAP, Business Warehouse, strategic plans, and other data sources and databases.
- Supporting the development and improvement of key supply chain systems and processes
- Supply Network Optimisation & Contingency planning for supply interruptions or loss of capacity
- Support the national and regional supply management reviews with analysis, coordination, NPD/I & product portfolio management processes
- Support process and system enablement to ensure profitable and sustainable growth
- Assess Operations Capacity to support New Business Opportunities
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent technical tertiary qualification required
- 5+ years across supply chain and specifically planning
- Experienced in supply chain planning/optimisation and business/management technology application (e.g., ERP: SAP desirable, modelling and planning tools such as IBP, APO, TMS
- Advanced planning, analytics, process improvement, modelling & Project management
- Fundamental of business management and finance (e.g., costing, forecasting, budgeting)
- Industry experience & post graduate qualification desirable
- Professional certification such as Certified Supply Chain Professional desirable
