About the opportunity:
We are seeking a talented and motivated .Net/Azure software developer to join our health insurance company.
In this role you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software that supports our health insurance offerings, including enrolment, claims processing, customer management, and customer engagement/marketing campaigns. You will work closely with our product development team, data analysts, marketing team, and a large number of other teams to create software solutions that enhance our health insurance services and customer engagement efforts.
The job’s primary focus will be on API development in the areas of coding, analysis, design, and supporting the existing .Net APIs, associated applications & environments. This will include designing end to end solutions and providing feedback on others solution design(s) to ensure they meet operation needs and adhere to quality of the highest standards.
How will I help?
Work collaboratively with the other IT functions in responding to Business unit requirements that underpin the day-to-day activities of existing .Net APIs and customer experience management systems.
Participate in identifying process and system improvements for the API team and, more specifically, in the .Net domain.
Actively collaborate with and assist other members of the .Net teams in successfully completing their activities including some level of mentoring and training and at times leading development activities.
Undertake feasibility studies of changes to .Net-related applications for proposed business projects/enhancements to provide high-level sizing.
Implement cloud-based solutions using Azure services.
Undertake system analysis, solution and technical design activities with high-quality documentation and realistic work estimates as the end-deliverables.
Ensure that proposed technical design complies with the application architectural principles.
Undertake manual and automated test activities as per agreed unit test coverage and ensure that artefacts are available to satisfy any audit compliance.

What do I need?
4+ years of experience in a similar role with .Net Technologies and preferably REST APIs
1+ years of experience using Azure cloud platform
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Desire to work in a digital systems environment.
Experience developing with the Azure cloud platform. Mandatory
Development experience in multi-tier architectures. Mandatory
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to function as a thought leader as well as an individual contributor
Experience in C#, Web APIs, ASP.NET MVC, Web Services is Mandatory
Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
