Form of work Acubis provides customised, high-performing and cost-effective radio, data and telecommunications solutions, products and services. We are seeking an experienced technical specialist to manage our client’s communications systems and equipment.
Responsibilities
Conducting fault diagnosis and repair communications and network equipment in a safe and timely manner
Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers
Optimising network performance
Leading and managing client issues to resolution
Working with the operations team to deliver quality products and services to exceed clients’ expectations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following essential criteria:
Trade or engineering qualifications in electronics, telecommunications or network administrator
Good understanding of IP networking and ability to access systems across an IP network
Familiar with ACMA licencing requirements for Point to Point Microwave radio
Demonstrated experience in a similar role with proven technical experience in solving technical and network issues
Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with end-users
Strong time management, prioritisation and problem solving skills
Previous experience working in the resources sector is highly desirable
Current driver’s licence and able to travel between sites
