Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for clients.
- Provide advanced Technical Support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
- Perform network assessments, analyze performance data, and recommend improvements.
- Respond to escalated support tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Engineering or Technical Support roles.
- Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Java, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line utilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Active NV1 security clearance is mandatory.
