Our client is looking to engage the services of a Network Engineer on a 6 month contract, with the possibility of a 6 month extension.
• Working with the technical team to ensure completion of as-built documentation, knowledge transfer and handover to BAU teams for ongoing support.
• Work within a specialised team in the provision of 2nd level support for a range of WAN, MAN, and LAN communications networks.
• Follow ITIL based methodologies for addressing issues within customer communications networks in an effective and consultative manner.
An excellent understanding of, and extensive experience, with:
• large scale ICT networking (routing and switching) Projects and Programs
• Fully IP converged networks
• Data Centre/LAN/MAN/WAN environments
• Network Management
• Network protocols such as MPLS, VRF, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF and BGP
• Shared Infrastructure Network Connectivity
Max Rate on offer: $750.00 per day inc super
