Job description

You might think you already know a lot about Bupa. You’ll know we provide health insurance and aged care services across Australia, and you’ve probably also seen our dental and optical clinics in your local shopping centres. But what you might not realise is that we also provide support to several government departments including delivering health services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel and their families in Australia.

The Australian Defence Force Health Services Contract (ADFHSC) provides integrated and seamless end-to-end health support to 85,000 Australia Defence Force (ADF) personnel across multiple facilities nationally. This includes integrated workforce providing health services such as primary and occupational healthcare, dental, physiotherapy, mental health and psychology services, pharmacy, occupational rehabilitation, health administration, pathology, imaging and radiology, vocational rehabilitation, mental health, hospital, specialist, allied health, patient transport and other off base services enabled by Bupa systems.

About the role
Ensuring we have the right number of Medical Specialists and Allied Health Providers that deliver specialist services, in the right places and at the right is a priority of the Australian Defence Force Health Services Contract (ADFHSC).
The Network Partnership Recruitment Lead leads initiatives to support the Bupa Network Partnership Team develop and maintain a sufficient, commercially sustainable network that delivers a high-quality patient care and client experience. In this role you will be responsible for generating and utilising a wide range of data driven insights to strategically source and recruit suitable health care personnel to the ADFHSC network.

You will:
Identify network insufficiencies, and source, engage, and negotiate provider rates with suitable providers to ensure a sufficient network of providers that will support the provision of heath care services to ADF members.
Develop and maintain reports to share meaningful data insights to inform recruitment activity and network performance against Bupa ADFHSC contractual obligations.
Ensure a seamless end-to-end recruitment and onboarding experience for providers interested in delivering services in accordance with terms and conditions of the ADFHSC. This includes ensuring providers are aware of the unique occupational requirements of delivering services to ADF members within a Defence environment and Veterans in a civilian environment.
Ensure Bupa ADFHSC recruitment policies and procedures drive provider engagement, experience and retention.
Use a variety of sources such as local networks, online platforms/resources, and in-depth analysis of industry and organisational data to identify potential providers wanting to join the Bupa network.
Provide and maintain a high level of customer service and account management to providers and their practice staff who comprise the Bupa ADFHSC network of providers.

Most importantly though, you’ll have a commitment to improving outcomes for our customers, who are at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll also need:
Proven ability to meet and exceed turnaround times (SLA’s/ KPI’s)
Previous experience in provider sourcing and/or recruitment
